VA PRIDE presents

JUST SAY LOVE

As part of its annual PrideFest, VA PRIDE presents two special screenings of the acclaimed film “Just Say Love” at RTP.

Physical attractions appear to be the obvious explanation for two people to become a pair. But are they really the reflection of something sublime, everlasting or dare we say, spiritual? Do relationships start in the bedroom or in the heart? In this male love story, the bliss described by Joseph Campbell and sages throughout the millennia is a practical option for finding happiness. As the camera delves into the character’s minds and actions we find fulfillment on both a physical and spiritual level. Stagewright Films will bring you closer to the story through a magical combination of stage and film. Watch the trailer!

It’s Madame – With an “E”!

Madame, the irrepressible, irreverent and oh-so-irreplaceable diva -- best known for her appearances on television’s Solid Gold, Hollywood Squares, and her own syndicated series Madame’s Place -- comes to RTP in her nationally acclaimed show “It’s Madame with an E!”, with a new man on her arm – co-star Rick Skye – and musical direction by Ricky Ritzel -- for four shows only. Part Broadway musical, part autobiography, this multi-media valentine to show business combines the double-entendre comedy material of the beloved character originally created by Wayland Flowers, with up-to-the-minute commentary and dishy gossip about Hollywood celebrities past and present.

With a special guest appearance by her beloved Bellevue buddy, Crazy Mary, Madame tells her life story, illustrated with outrageous photos from her personal photo album, as well as with video of some of her past performances. Filled with both original and classic songs, this show will delight her army of old fans, as well as introducing this iconic American comedy diva to a whole new audience.
